2011 Reunion Info

May 2011:

Yes it’s hard to believe, but 40 years have passed classmates! A few of us “locals” got together last week over a few drinks, and we resurrected from the dead, the Class of 71 Reunion Committee. Time is short, and we need everyone’s help in bringing the planned reunion to fruition, on these tentative dates in August; the 19^th, 20^th, 21^st, or the 26^th, 27^th, 28^th.

We are operating off an email list from the last reunion in 2001, so needless to say this email list, although not quite old as us, is never the less out dated. So we are sending out our emails today based on this list, but we need your help in updating emails. We have attached a list of the emails in PDF format. Please take time to look through the attached list and send us back an email ASAP.

In your email let us know if you are interested in:

(1) Attending a reunion this August.

(2) Include any classmates email addresses that you might have knowledge of.

(3) Your ideas of locations to hold our venues for the reunion.

We hope to have a Mustang 71 website up and running soon, along with a Facebook site for those of you on Facebook.

With our collective minds, we have come up with the following locations as possibilities:

Friday night: The Leucadian, the Daily Double.

Saturday night: San Dieguito Gym, the Elks Lodge, Off Track Betting Del Mar, Community Center in Encinitas, The Crossing in Carlsbad, The Ocean House in Carlsbad.

Sunday Picnic: San Dieguito Park, Glen Park, Oak Crest Park, Riviera Mobile Home Park-Clubhouse, or Someone’s Big House/Residence.

Remember, these are ideas that we have on the table, and we implore you to assist us with your suggestions on possible locations.
